The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) affords me a privileged opportunity as Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry to convey our aspirations to the business community on a local as well as an international scale. The GEW is a fantastic opportunity for Seychelles to connect with a truly global enterprise community and allows the world to learn about our entrepreneurship proficiencies, despite the size of its economy.
The Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA) conducted a special entrepreneurship lecture series on Wednesday 21st October, 2020 to commemorate the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).
The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the largest and most visible one-week campaign affiliated with entrepreneurship, which occurs annually every November. It is an international event, which involves the participation of over 170 countries, and more than 10 million people. It is a celebration of entrepreneurs, innovators and job creators, who launch their startups by bringing ideas to life in order to drive economic growth and increase human welfare.
